Taiwan Trip 2024 - Day 3

It’s day three after our rejuvenating stay at Jiao Xi’s Hotel Pin for a night. We wake up in the morning to enjoy our first standard hotel breakfast. This is our first international-style hotel buffet in Taiwan, and there are so many local dishes that we don’t usually see.

After breakfast, we let the kids enjoy the hot springs again while we pack because we’re heading to a new destination today. We check out of our room and spend some time in the gaming room while waiting for the shuttle service. We take the shuttle to the train station, where we board a local train to our next destination—Luo Dong.

Upon arriving in Luo Dong, we take another taxi ride to our destination for the day—a home stay designed for kids. This home stay is packed with activities; there are water play areas, opportunities for animal feeding, fish feeding, and plenty of in-house toys to enjoy.

After checking in, we take a break and then head to the Luo Dong Night Market. This is the kids’ first night market experience, and they love trying all kinds of delicious foods that we can’t usually find in our hometown. That wraps up our third day!
