Travel plan

We are planning a family trip for next year, between January and March, to coincide with the Chinese Lunar New Year holidays. The elder boy will be on his school break, while the younger one is waiting to begin primary school.

The question now is where to go. If we decide to travel overseas, for example, flying to Australia, we estimate that we will need at least $10,000 SGD, including the flight cost, which is already $3,000+ SGD for two adults and three children.

Alternatively, if we choose to travel locally, we believe it may cost around $3.5K SGD to drive around a few states and have fun. It’s a difficult decision to make.
