There’s a quiet luxury in knowing my roadster is tucked away in a friend’s garage, safe from the elements and the minor hazards of daily life. It’s not just about sheltering a car; it’s about preserving a piece of joy. My roadster, with its low lines and promise of open roads, feels almost too special to squeeze into a crowded driveway or to leave at the mercy of the weather and wandering eyes. Instead, it rests in a borrowed space, under a solid roof, amid the familiar clutter of someone else’s tools and projects.
That arrangement carries a warmth beyond mere convenience. It speaks to trust, to friendship, to the unspoken understanding that some things matter more than square metres and storage. Each time I lift the garage door, there’s a small moment of gratitude, both for the car itself and for the generosity that keeps it protected. When the time comes to take it out, to hear the engine turn over and feel the road unfold beneath me, it feels even more special. The roadster isn’t just stored; it’s cared for, waiting patiently for the next perfect drive, ready to deliver joy and freedom whenever called upon.
