When I first met your Ma

Paul Kelly has a song called “When I first met your Ma”. In the song, he describes to his children about when he first met their mother and the love and admiration he felt for her as they built their fledgling relationship.

This weekend, my wife and I will celebrate forty years together, and this song resonates so much with me as it takes me back to when I first met her and the apprehension and anxieties I felt early on in our relationship.
