I have been using YouTube for a very long time to consume content. Most of the time, I use it to watch movie/show explainer series so that I don’t have to spend hours watching the actual show. Additionally, I use it to watch unboxing videos, game explainer videos, and local politics videos.

This year, I have started to use YouTube to learn new things. For example, I watched FlutterFlow series videos to learn how to use the tools to build mobile apps, AI intro videos to understand how AI tools work, and lately, I’ve been watching videos about how content creators build content using AI tools. Although I prefer learning through text and images, video has become a very important medium for learning and you can learn almost anything on YouTube.

These days I usually have YouTube open in one window, and ChatGPT or Claude in the other window to explain whatever I don’t understand.
