Day 1 of the workshop is in the books, and my brain is still buzzing from this experience. I am happy to say that it exceeded my expectations.

In the past, I've been as guilty as @Twizzle at buying courses, half-assing my way through them, and then doing zilch with the information afterward. I'm much more selective about courses and workshops. This one was pretty easy to say yes to based on the content and the fact the Unicorn Universe Mastermind group puts it on.

The morning started with guidance for crafting a $200M Unicorn offer. This is a play on Alex Hormozi's $100M offer, and the double value comes from leveraging the Unicorn community. Many people expressed the same sticking point--creating various products and never launching them. The advice was to build a minimum-viable product and launch it right away.

Concerning tools, the advice is to know what you want to accomplish and where you want to go before you start using tools that will take you to the wrong place if the heading is off. Avoid software-stacking--using multiple solutions that all have to be connected.

When you're a one-person company, your best bet is establishing relationships and getting to know people. Have zero desire for the outcome.

"Allow them to work with you. Don't beg to work with them."

We received a demonstration of Go High Level software, a one-stop-shop CRM. I was blown away by all the functionality, including an AI agent that will make calls for you and leave messages to set appointments. We were gifted a six-month trial membership, so I immediately created my account and will be playing around with it.

We also received a demonstration of Notion, which I have limited experience with. It's so much easier when someone gives you a template instead of building something from scratch.

In the afternoon, we learned the ins and outs of creating a custom GPT. We also saw a demonstration of using a custom prompt creator to generate information for 16 social media posts that produced a CSV file that could be imported into Go High Level to schedule. I was blown away that it took less than an hour.

I'm chomping at the bit to play with all these tools, but I know my first task is to get laser-focused on defining my customer avatar to be clear on my audience. After that, I'll decide which offer to start with and get to work.

Sounds exciting! Another thing I love about these courses/training is the tools and apps they introduce you to along the way. I think I more love learning about their process and what tools are used to achieve it, rather than doing it myself.

I get juice out of using the tools, especially when it will lead to cashola that will get me out of my job.
