A letter for the dog days

I hope that no matter how hard this indie hacking journey gets, whatever inner demons you’re fighting to overcome, how hard this is to figure out, how draining it is to show up every day, and how confusing it gets to know if you’re even moving in the right direction, you will never lose faith that this is the right path for you, that you will eventually get there, somehow, some way.

I hope the reason for your path—and the power you gain from it—stays so deeply anchored in your heart, so that even on days when a hurriance drives by, on days when you second-guess every decision, when money runs low and sanity bled dry, and when even your heart wants out, you’re rooted firm in the ground knowing with absolute certainty that you are in the right place and time and there’s no other place you’d rather be than in the here and the now.

I hope you will eventually achieve what you so deeply desired for so long, and evolve into who you so strongly strained to be. Because you deserve it, as all who fought in the arena do.
