A life plan from ChatGPT

I recently saw several people recommend telling ChatGPT our life goals and asking it to break the goals down into practical plans. Some were shocked at how useful this exercise is and how tangible the pursuit of their goals became.

But, for me, it’s not a matter of breaking down my goals into plans. It’s not about knowing. It’s about being able to direct my attention during my day and in completing the tasks that will get me to my goals.

It’s about working through my emotions so that I don’t succumb to fear or doubt.

We all know how to get fit, but are we able to stick to the habits that will get us to the goal we want?

It’s not just lack of knowledge, but developing the skill of guiding our attention, working with our emotions, and organizing our time so that we get to focus on what matters most to us in the pursuit of our goals.

What else do you think is required to achieve our goals?

So true. It’s sustained action that is hard.

@jasonleow A classic case of “easier said than done”. And to add insult to injury, “easier said by an AI than done by a human” 😭

@knight Yes exactly. It’s not just knowledge, but character development and building up the skills that enable us to put our plans into practice.
