AI tool or toy?

I have observed many people who seem to be dabbling in AI as if it were a toy. They're just messing around without any aim or goal. Almost using it for the sake of it rather than anything else. They might as well be a ghostbuster with a proton pack shooting around the ion beam, whether or not Slimer is around. I'm not knocking the activity. I'm all for having fun, but once I saw the potential of what AI can really do, it started to get serious for me.
I asked my agent to give me a summary of everything it has done for me in just under two weeks. Here is the response:
AI Surfer OS has helped Brandon create and organize 200+ assets, including 43 PDFs, 18 HTML documents, 24 drafts/plans, 11 campaign CSV/log files, and 97 images, while supporting Vital Health outreach, GHL campaign setup, Be Wellthy launch content, prospect documents, product PDFs, recurring monitoring, and specialist-agent workflows.
Estimated total time saved so far: 120 to 180+ hours, plus 5 to 10 hours per week ongoing from monitoring, campaign tracking, and follow-up support.
The time-saving alone is worth the price of admission. So for me, this tool feels like a toy, a tool, and something more personal and powerful.
Ah, good idea to put together a summary for a weekly review.
