Backend messiah

So I built a PHP app using Cursor agent mode last week. The PHP code was done in 15min but setting up the server infra and deployment took days because I had to do it manually. Yet, it was AI who walked me through it step by step. I would have taken weeks perhaps, reading the odd blog post and the random youtube video here and there to piece everything together.

Thank god.

I’ve always been more of a frontend dev, and backend infra stuff always felt like a blackbox to me. Scared of breaking stuff. But now, backend feels manageable. Because I got a backend mentor with 24/7 omni-patience to guide me through every minute step. It does what it can on its own, checks in with me before it does more scary stuff like run terminal commands, and answers every dumb question I might have before proceeding, so that I won’t get a heart attack.

It’s the backend messiah I never knew I needed.
