Be the opposite

Whatever you do, just do the opposite of the average mainstream, and you’ll have a better chance at success than them.
Because if whatever they are doing gets results, everyone would be successful then. But they did not. And to expect different results from doing the same thing is, quite frankly, insanity.
So be the opposite.
Be bold, don’t hedge.
Be contrarian, in action.
Life’s more fun that way.
There’s more adventure that way.
The path feels more difficult, but worth it.
If anything, you’ve got more fun stories to tell, to reminiscence by, at the end of it all.
Be the opposite.

This reminds me of Blue Ocean Strategy. Everyone is fighting for the same prize in the red oceans. But if you can open up a new market, you make all that competition irrelevant.
