Being a parent

This is what it is all about.

Everything that I’m trying to work towards right now, is for this. Creating a great memory for my kid. All my past selves, are gone. I’m just a ghost of my son’s future. Within that arc, I try to do something I love, something I find meaningful, something I want. But I’m irrevocably… beyond myself now.

It’s wild how powerful this force is.
