Bio Biz Bash Day 3

The last day of the Bio Biz Bash is in the books. I'm back home earlier than the previous three nights, but I am beat. The Modafinil I took this morning is wearing off, and I've got a wired-but-tired feeling.

This morning, the techhall was only open from 9 to 12, so I used every last minute to get some demos and talk with vendors. I also got a BrainTap session while lying on this amazing chair built with acoustic vibrational technology. I was absolutely shocked to find out there were no speakers in the chair, but the music sounded like I was at a live event. I also got a NeuralChek scan, and I wasn't surprised that my HRV needs work. My schedule has been off, and I have been derelict using BrainTap or meditating regularly. This will change now that I have a new brain training device to play with.

I said goodbye to my new acquaintances, and then I wandered aimlessly through the tech hall as they started to pack up and break down the booths. I felt a mini-depression. I didn't want the experience to end. After a lunch break, I returned to the main room to watch the final talks of the day.

The keynote speaker was Gary Brecka, a human biologist, biohacker, and co-founder of 10X Health. As I learn more about this company and its people, I think they are absolutely knocking it out of the park in the biohacking space.

Gary's talk was the best one of the conference. I'll provide some notes I took.

  • The convergence of big data, AI, and early detection is going to lead to condensing 300 years of medical breakthrough advancement every five years.
  • The presence of oxygen is the absence of disease. All death is ultimately caused by hypoxia--lack of oxygen to the brain.
  • Artificial sweeteners have been engineered to be addictive. Twenty percent of the chemicals are for the sweetness, eighty percent of the chemicals are for addiction.
  • Anyone alive in five years will have the choice to extend their health span by seven years.
  • We are too busy standing in the way of what God gave us and standing for what man made us.
  • We are not "diseased," we are nutrient-deficient.
  • Disease doesn't happen to us, it happens within us.
  • You can trace a continuous line from the top of your hand to the inside of your cheek. The entire digestive tract from the mouth to the anus is actually outside the body. The only thing separating the outside from the inside of the body is a membrane that is one cell thick.
  • Seventy percent of the circulatory system does not come from the heart pumping.
  • We must have 91 essential minerals, 9 amino acids, and 2 fatty acids. There is no such thing as an essential carbohydrate.
  • The place you'll find your purpose is a place where you're probably not looking.
  • Find the most painful thing your life, fix it, and tell the world about it.
  • Missing: Educate--Inspire--Transform
  • If you want to shrink your problems, grow your purpose.

Lots of great insights! Thanks for sharing!

“The entire digestive tract from the mouth to the anus is actually outside the body.”

“The presence of oxygen is the absence of disease”

What about the presence of oxygen that allows bacteria to fester? Shouldn’t we cut off oxygen from harmful bacteria? (I might be misunderstanding how to deal with bacteria entirely 🤣)

I’m not aware of a relationship between oxygen and bacteria that you referenced. However, I know cancer thrives in areas with a lack of oxygen.
