Burnout red flags

Anytime I feel a combination of these are red flags that a burnout is approaching:

  • No mood to work. At all.
  • No motivation to work on project
  • Spending breaks mindlessly scrolling media
  • Constantly tired
  • Sleeping enough but still need more sleep
  • Carb cravings
  • Hangry pangs
  • ‘Big feelings’
  • Unexplained lows
  • Feeling constantly behind
  • Thirsty
  • Feeling tired when I wake
  • Can’t wake, snoozing a lot
  • Needing more than 1 nap
  • Brain fog
  • Can’t make good decisions
  • Can’t make any decision
  • Weird aches and pains

This is a good checklist to revisit from time to time.

I can already check off some. Feeling it!
