Cleanout

I’ve been doing a lot of housekeeping lately. For things, subscriptions, people, media. E.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g.
I think I’ve unsubscribed to almost all newsletters, other than Mr James Clear, and a few of my friends’ ones. I’ve discarded most of my old work clothes. Stopped using many SaaS services altogether. Killed working on most projects. No longer accepting coffees and meetups. Unfollowing folks on social media. Not following up with DMs. Not giving a sh*t to most and many things I used to get tangled up in.
It’s not intentional but instinctual.
It’s like I’m cleaning out for something else to come in. Usually the bigger the cleanout, the bigger the upcoming change. And this cleanout’s massive. And ongoing for months. And will only get progressively bigger, as we inch towards our relocation overseas.
We’ve got a BIG one.
First, life stage.
Next, world crisis.
Then, career crisis.
Now, overseas relocation.
But I feel these are just the outward manifestations. The tip of the iceberg. And the cleanout’s just the beginning.
The real changes, are yet to be.

Yes indeed it was. Yes haha, you and Winkletter’s newsletters!

Sounds like a cathartic experience. Cleaning out the old to make way for the new. I hope my newsletter made the cut.
