Conditions > Outcome

A Monday morning question for you: Forget about the outcome and focus on what precedes it. Am I putting myself in good positions and creating the conditions for success? – @JamesClear

I like this.

I think oftentimes I’m too obsessed with my dreams and goals. The outcome. The endgame. And it adds undue stress to the journey.

If Mr Clear is right, I just need to focus on putting myself in a good position to create those conditions to get there. Just the system, not the goal. Because with the system in place, I’ll get to the goal anyway.

As long as I do these three things, I will get there:

  • Commit daily
  • Market daily
  • Iterate daily

Commit daily because you still got to build something practical and useful.
Market daily because a good product without distribution is nothing.
Iterate daily, because if the first two things didn’t work, doing it daily gets nowhere.

That’s it.

Anything else I missed?

“Outcome is all that matters. Do whatever it takes to get there. Break those eggs to make the omelet. If you’re not getting results, go back to the drawing board while staying focused on your dreams.” --Jim Muddled 🤣
