Copilot sucks

I've been using GPT and Claude for a bit now, and they've set the bar for how AI should behave. Consequently, my standards were quite high when I decided to use Copilot inside of Excel to work through a fairly advanced problem. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed.

I'm working on an Excel document that has built-in SQL queries. The setup is relatively straightforward, but I added a wrinkle by allowing the user to supply values to use in the queries. I was snagged on the code to add in the advanced query to pass the values to the queries. 

Copilot has a pretty nifty Edit feature that will do things for you, much like Claude Cowork. The problem is that it only works in the workbook and tabs and not behind-the-scenes. The bigger problem is that after about ten exchanges, I got a message saying the limit was reached; come back tomorrow. Apparently, my client only has a basic plan that is very limited. I switched to the chat-only option, and it gave me a code that didn't work. It came right back, and it indicted its own suggestions. Microsoft has some serious catching up to do in the AI world.
