Dance

Sometimes, in some seasons of life, maintaining a steady state is already winning.

Winning is only meaningful to you and you alone, so win whichever way you need, for that time. Champions don’t stand on podiums all day - they are sweating and failing on the field, in the gym, at practice.

Just sleeping might not be enough sometimes. But that just means you got to get rested in more ways than just in your body, and that can be fun to figure out.

It’s okay to disappear, until I feel whole again.

No one’s running this race against you. There’s no time limit, no deadline, no competition with others, no competition with even your past self. Nada.

You’re just in the race to run. To walk. To stroll. To lie flat. To sprint again. Whenever, whatever. Wait, it’s not even a race.

It’s a dance.

And the music ain’t stopping till you stop breathing.

So dance.
