Daring to dream

Why does X keep showing me these pics of other indie hacker’s desk setup? 😭

I always wanted to nomad and indie hack in Japan.
I always wanted to have a cabin in the woods but with Starlink.

Life goals.

These guys are doing it, have done it. And I want it. Desire it. Aspire to it.

Maybe it’s timely, because I feel maybe I can start dreaming again. It felt lost to me for the past few years. I was either too sleep deprived, too busy, too overwhelmed, too poor, too anxious, too caught up in survival mode to even dare to dream.

Maybe these are signs.
Maybe the fact that I can see them as signs is a signal that I might now be ready…

Ready to chase dreams again.

I love the idea of work and travel, and followed https://ruby-on-wheels.github.io/ a while back on his journey. It would be quite interesting to do, and I think I could get my employer even into it, but I sometimes wonder if I would really be productive.

@phaidenbauer Oh wow love that blog! Nomading from a campervan is one of my dreams! Great fun to read about his stories customizing it.

@Winkletter Hahah that’s totally my life goal

@jasonleow That’s what got me hooked too. Although I’m more the guy of at least a little bit of comfort, so I probably would stay on camping sides. Having “camp mode” in my car would make the whole journey a blast, most likely. I might be driving through Norway/Sweden in 2026 with a fellow Tesla driver, we’ll see.

@phaidenbauer Oooh Sweden would be nice to camp in the archipelago… waterside camping!
