Before you ask, “What should I do today?”
Ask yourself, “What should I remove today?”
Create the space you need to succeed.

I managed to get more time during the day. Finally! But it’s so simple - just eliminate a task. And this time, it was Twitter.

I shaved 1h at least. Maybe 2 if you count the various moments throughout the day drafting, tweeting, retweeting, engaging. And the mental bandwidth.

Now I’m finishing work before dark. Having proper dinners with the family. Helping out more with the chores around the house. Sleeping slightly earlier. Feeling ever so slightly better. Finishing with some fuel left in the tank.

Most importantly, I’m not crawling to the finish line every day. I finish standing, with some dignity, some composure.

Amazing how removing a single task helps. I still tweet though, but not everyday. Just when I feel like it. And that feels more fun too.

When too busy, always just eliminate.

Eliminate eliminate eliminate.

Now… what’s next to eliminate?

Now you just have to avoid the temptation to tweet about escaping the Twitterverse.

@Winkletter What’s the point of a digital detox if you don’t end up bragging about it? 🤣
