Entertaining guests

This week, my friend Scott, who lives in Utah, notified me that he and his daughter Sierra are coming for a visit this weekend. Scott has stayed with me several times, most notably last year when he took flight classes to earn his pilot certification.

The purpose of this visit is a one-day event called The True Food Summit, which will be happening tomorrow in Phoenix. The event is sponsored by Children's Health Defense, founded by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. When he first shared it with me, I told him it was more his speed than mine. After all, he has a farm and a vested interest in growing organic, nutritious food. I don't have anything against this summit, and I probably should learn how to grow some of my own food, but now is not the time to start that endeavor. I'm much more focused on building a business.

Nevertheless, since he committed to coming to Phoenix, it sort of committed me to attending the event since I'll be his wheels. If nothing else, it will provide me with a topic for next week's newsletter. I will also have the opportunity to interact with health-minded individuals who might be interested in innovative light therapy technology.
