Evolution of a Doctrine episode

I just realized the last episode of The Brandonian Doctrine that I published was on 4/22. I’m not sure why it’s taken this long to publish another episode. I have a few ideas in the can, but I guess that little corner of creativity has not led me to record more episodes. Until today.

Here’s how a doctrine episode starts. My brain thinks up of some crazy idea. I noodle the idea a little bit and give it some structure saying things aloud. I quickly move to record clips on my iPhone. These are usually quick one- or two-takes that I usually send to Steve to get a rise out of him. Sometimes I will publish that clip as the episode.

Today, I recorded three separate clips and then decided to do a full write-up on Adagia and then record the episode.

If you’re in The Brandonian Doctrine Telegram Channel, then you’ve got front-row access to brand-new episodes and unreleased clips.

If you are ready for a chuckle or just want to shake your head at the absurdity, here is the latest episode: 109 Simultaneous Bodily Functions
