Follow-up doctor visit

This afternoon, I had my telehealth visit with my doctor, to which she was 20 minutes late. It turns out that doctors make you wait regardless of whether you go to the office or get on the phone. I’ve only had one doctor who actually greeted me in the lobby earlier than my appointment time. Of course, he only used that trick on the first visit.

Overall, my doctor was pleased with my lab results. In comparison to my last results from July, just about all of my numbers improved. I’ve lost about twenty pounds, my inflammation markers have decreased, and my glucose numbers have improved. I’m still not where I want to be, but I’m moving in the right direction.

In addition to working on glucose control, the next big items to tackle are improving low testosterone and balancing my thyroid. She recommended the following supplements:

Tongkat Ali 40 tablets [ MDH MediHerb ]
1 capsule(s) , twice per day , , Dispense Quantity : 1 unit(s)
Shilajit Tablets 90 tablets [ BAN Banyan Botanicals ]
2 tablet(s) , once per day , , Dispense Quantity : 1 unit(s)
DHEA 50mg 60 capsules [ VN Vital Nutrients ]
1 cap(s) , once per day , , Dispense Quantity : 1 unit(s)
Resveratrol Supreme [ DFH Designs for Health ]
1 capsule(s) , three times per day , Dispense Quantity : 1 unit(s)
Cholesterol Complete [ BSN Biospec Nutritionals ]
2 tablet(s) , twice per day , Dispense Quantity : 1 unit(s)

I am unfamiliar with some of these. I will be researching them before I order them.

@therealbrandonwilson I go through this when I help my dad with his telehealth appointments. The law must say you have to wait 15 to 30 minutes whether you’re on site or dialing in.
