Freedom stack: If you could choose to live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

I posted about my freedom stack.
Everyone asked “Why Singapore?” 🇸🇬
Aren’t you born there?
Yes, but I was asking: “If I could choose to live anywhere in the world, where would I live?” I was imagining how I would do my freedom stack if I could choose to live anywhere, to be a citizen anywhere in the world. Because once your income is location independent, you’re freed from your country of birth. I’d like to think being born here and having extended family here is happenstance, but I still think Singapore is great as a base for business/home:
- one of the lowest corporate tax in the world 17%
- zero capital gains tax
- stable, efficient government
- low friction for business (register in a day)
- super safe city to live in
- modern infrastructure and amenities
- gateway to rest of Asia
- but cost of living is super expensive
- kinda boring if you’re single and young
- nice for families maybe
- put assets here, but travel/live nearby
It’s nice as a base of exploration, less for 24/7/365 living. The beauty of it is, you don’t have to stay here to set up company here.
One day, one day…

Do it do it! :) I feel travel is a great way to manifest new ideas and energy for whatever you’re trying to manifest. Somehow the new environment breaks us out of our habitual tendencies… Do come by Singapore if you’re coming to Asia!

I recently joined a travel membership club, and I will be exploring the vacation packages they offer.

I haven’t traveled the world, so I don’t have context for any places I would like to live outside the US. I do plan to travel more, and it would be great to visit Singapore.
