From one to three

When it was announced (unexpectedly I might add) that 200WAD/Co-Writers/Writelier was shutting down, my first thought was where will I write next. There was no question about whether I would continue to write. The only question was where. All else fails and I would write privately. Little did I know that rather than face the prospect of no place to write, I would have three choices available in relatively short order.

First up was Writestreak.team, and our buddy @arcticloon had me at the name. Of course, someone who has been writing daily for years would emphasize the streak first and foremost. The second site was Sir Abe’s mysteriously-named Adagia, which prioritized community writing features. Finally, we have the third entry of Life Log, which incorporates public goal-setting along with writing.

It is interesting to see the three different takes on a writing site. I am impressed by the creativity and speed with which everyone moved to provide new writing homes. They make it look easy even though I know it isn’t. I look forward to watching how the sites evolve and seeing how the communities form for each one. This is the fun of being in on the ground floor.

Hey Brandon, glad to see you here! First post ever in Lifelog - thought the honors should rightfully go to you, #teamstreak chief! :)

Thank you! I thought you’d have the first one logged to show us all how it’s done. :)
