Give up glow up

When you give up on something, when you’ve come to a firm decision and commitment to walk away from something, the Universe likes to—all of a sudden—show you the nice, fun, positive side of that something. A posthoc glow up.

Suddenly, it feels pretty silly.
Suddenly, it’s not so bad after all.
Suddenly, you question why you gave it up.

The Universe has a dark sense of humour, for sure.
Or crazy wisdom.

Sometimes it’s a test. To see if you had truly given it up for real.
Sometimes it’s nothing. Just a blip in the radar. Keep calm carry on.
Sometimes it’s a nudge. To show you’ve been too dramatic, even if right.

Because if it’s a test, you stick to your guns.
Because if it’s nothing, you stick to your guns.
Because if it’s a nudge, you stick to your guns.

Either way, you stick to your guns.
Nothing’s changed.

It’s just the Universe’s way to help you regulate yourself a bit. Balance things out. Get clear-headed again.

Give up, but no need to burn bridges.
Give up, but know it’s all all evil.
Give up, but see a way back.

Close the door, but leave a window ajar to let the air in.
Else it might get too serious, too stuffy.

The Universe above all, operates on play, on humour.
Why so serious.
