Hard life > easy life

Creating a different life is hard.
Making changes is hard.
Starting is hard.

But that’s the whole point. If it wasn’t hard it’s not meaningful. Anything that dropped on your lap without a drop of effort, was never appreciated, treasured, savoured. Cue the second generation rich.

We all think we want an easy life, but what we actually need is a hard life.

Hard in the right things.

Because when you chase the right, hard things, life is fulfilling, satisfying, exciting. It’ll still suck on some or even most days, but anytime you look back, you will feel satisfied with how you put all of yourself into the fight.
