Heading back to Kuwait

I’ll be heading to the airpot in about 10 minutes. It’s been a lovely trip, but I’m also looking forward to going back home.

I miss my wife and daughters.

I miss my car. I find it annoying not having a car, but I wasn’t able to rent one out because I didn’t have my physical credit card, which is required for the security deposit. Although I wasn’t going to drive around much (I mostly stayed in the residential complex where my son is living), but it would’ve been made short trips easier to take, instead of weighing the financial cost of going back and forth for something trivial.

I miss my favorite cafe. The cafe I mostly worked in was nice, but I find my favorite cafe a lot more comfortable to work from.

I miss my office and having access to my books and stationery, whenever I need anything from there.

I miss my shower and having a bar of soap, instead of using shower gel, which I find annoying to use.

But I’ll miss being with my son when I leave. I’ll probably miss the flexibility I had over my schedule (when I’m home I usually plan around family meals). And I really hope I’ll get the opportunity to walk around as much as I did here.

Looking forward to settle down a bit before I plan my next trip with my girls. 😂
