I finally have my writing dashboard!

I have had the goal of aggregating all of my posts for several years. I realize it's a rare use case. First of all, I've been writing daily since December 2018 and have published on multiple websites.

Old-schoolers remember 200WAD, the site that started it all. After Baz's infamous rebrandings, he ultimately shut the site down at the end of 2020. Fortunately, someone figured out how to create a GitHub repository to archive those posts. I had Claude start with this archive to build my dashboard.

Then we have the three separate sites that spring up, allowing members of #Teamstreak to continue.

Of course, LifeLog has had the most staying power. There are a few of us here still keeping the lights on. This is where I had Claude start with creating my dashboard. It figured out how to use an API to pull current and future posts, so hopefully @jasonleow doesn't change something behind the scenes that will break it.

@abrahamKim still seems to be writing at Adagia, so I found him on Telegram and asked how to get my posts. He's going to do a database dump that I can feed into Claude.

The wildcard is Writestreak, which seems to have gone defunct. I used to communicate with @Arcticloon on Telegram, but he deleted his account. Hopefully, I can track him down and get access to my posts.

In the meantime, my favorite feature of my new dashboard (which is a local file, so I won't be able to share it) is the On This Day feature, which lets me see every post I wrote on that day, going back to 2018/2019. Very cool!

Cool stuff! Nothing’s changing for now don’t worry hah. You should host the dashboard online - would love to see it
