Joke greeting cards

I go back and forth between serious and funny when I send people cards. Lately, I've tended to go for the joke, which is how I found joker greeting cards.

The idea is that you sign the card, put it in the envelope, and then pull a tab to arm it. When the unsuspecting recipient opens the card, it triggers an annoying song that plays on an endless loop for a minimum of three hours. There is no way to stop it without tearing the card apart to destroy the electronics. If someone decides to do that, they will realize that the card was loaded with glitter, and they will glitter-bomb themselves. Brilliant!

My only regret is that I'm sending the card to someone who lives elsewhere, so I can only imagine their reaction and will not be able to see it first-hand. I shall wait with glee and anticipation until the card arrives, and then I'm sure I'll hear all about it.

I put some high-quality dark chocolate in with the card, so hopefully, that softens the blow of my dastardly deed. It's all in good fun and is a gentle reminder not to take life so seriously. We all could use more laughter.
