Modern luxury

Luxury used to mean this:
- Credit card
- Condomimium or a house
- Sports cars
- Flying business class
- Gold Rolexes
- Yachts
- Expensive vacations
- Michelin star restaurants
- The latest iPhones
But I think luxury now looks quite different.
Modern luxury is the ability to think clearly, sleep deeply, move slowly, and live quietly in a world designed to prevent all four. - Justin Welsh
As cliche as that sounds, I want it.
The best part: You don’t need to be a millionaire to get that.
Think clearly
- Meditation
- Writing
- No doomscrolling
- Dumb phones
Sleep deeply
- Sleep biohacking
- Supplements
- Working out in the day
- Eating well
- No blue light
- Good bed
- Proper AC
Move slowly
- Mindful walking/eating/working
- 10k steps in nature
- Progress at your own pace
Live quietly
- Blank calendar
- Silent retreats
- No online presence
Out with material luxuries.
In with wellbeing luxuries.
