My entry is in

My daughter was quite excited when I mentioned that I planned to enter the Melbourne Half Marathon. She ran the half marathon this year and set her goal to run the full marathon next year. She said I should up my goal to the full marathon, but I assured her that I was not ready to do the full marathon this year. Maybe the year after.

Today marks the opening of entries for the Melbourne Half Marathon, and since there is a limit on the number of entries, I have already registered to secure my spot. Now that I have entered, I am fully committed to participating in the event with no intention of backing down.
