My space

One week away from my chair at my desk, and it felt so nice to sit back into it.

A place where I feel useful, connected, creative. Powerful, even.

My seat of happiness.
My space of joy.

So much of what I am, my identity, my dreams, my life’s work, are made here.

No wonder I heaved almost a sigh of relief, a sigh of contentment, when I sank back into it.

It’s amazing how much of what’s personally important to me can be compressed into this 1 metre by 1 metre space, in the few artefacts before me – my laptop, keyboard, phone, monitor screen. In fact, maybe just a laptop would suffice.
