Never fear, the ideas always come

I woke up this morning with no clue what my newsletter topic would be. I don't panic when this happens because I know the ideas always come.
When I have an event or some big thing going on, those newsletters are built in. When I have less going on, I have to think a bit harder about what I'm working on and how I can hit an angle that would provide value to my audience. This morning, I meditated and decided that the topic would be AI.
The approach I took was to compare AI to the late 90's when Google quickly dominated the search engine space. As I noted in my newsletter, we've been trained over the last 28 years to enter some keywords into the Google search bar and go on an expedition to find what we need. A Google search asks, “Where can I find information about this?” A strong AI prompt asks, “Given my goal, circumstances, and preferences, can you help me turn this information into a useful next step?”
Prompting is the real magic, and I provided some foundational principles to help people create better inputs to get better outputs. Look for the full newsletter tomorrow morning, as usual. If you're not subscribed, head on over to https://bewellthy.substack.com/.
