At the Biohacking Conference, I visited the Energy for Success booth. This program was created by Dr. Barry Morguelan. I first heard about “Dr. B” through Dave Asprey. Dr. B is a world-renowned surgeon and pioneer in gastroenterology. He is also the only Western Grand Master of an ancient personal energy mastery tradition that goes back over 5,000 years in China.

The Energy for Success program is based in an ancient Chinese Energy system that utilizes Newtonian and Quantum Physics as taught historically by famous leaders such as Lao Tsu and has been passed down through millennia.

I attended the onboarding Zoom call this morning and learned a bit more about the program. I felt the energy from the facilitators and participants in this call in a way I can’t really describe.

The Energy for Success Model

  • CONNECT - Connect to source energy with energy practices such as physical practices and guided visualizations.
  • FOCUS - Once connected, focus your source energy by writing goals.
  • ACTIVATE - Activate energy by taking action steps on your goals.
  • ACKNOWLEDGE WINS - Start noticing all your wins and successes and by acknowledging them, you build source energy momentum.

The Dragon Program is the starter program. All content is accessed via the app. The program lasts twelve months, and each month offers a different module. The first module is called Winning, No Matter the Challenge.

One major component of this course is setting goals. The framework for goals is based on the Great 8 life areas. Once we set long-term goals, then we create specific, daily goals that help move us toward our big goals.

Another requirement for the course is that we keep two notebooks: One for goals and one for victories. These books are separate because goals represent potential energy and victories represent realized energy.

I’m no stranger to goal-setting, and frankly, many of the approaches I’ve used in the past have not worked well for me. I’m looking forward to trying this new approach. I will be sharing my journey along the way.

Wow, cool. Super curious to hear what this Great 8 life areas are, and their approach to goal setting. The 2 notebooks idea is fascinating too - any deeper reasons how it works?

I purposely let that one be a tease. So much to explore! This whole idea of source energy is new to me. It’s not the same as the “energy” we refer to when we say, “I just don’t have energy today.” It’s more than just physical.

Very interesting post Brandon. I am very into increasing my energy… any form of energy. And this sounds like something I would enjoy doing.
