Nothing happens then everything happens everywhere all at once

It never rains but pours. Nothing happens, then everything happens everywhere all at once.

Last month I had time to work on a hobby project leisurely. Then this month, it’s like someone threw the entire year’s to-do list on me all at once.

I’m currently juggling like, 8 different things right now:

• Sourcing for consulting gigs for Outsprint
• Scanning for jobs to get my CV out there with recruiters
• Maintaining hobby project PSI.SG
• Building up my new project Lists Kit
• Launching Black Friday sale for my Carrd plugins
• Starting my first ever collab sale for Carrd plugins
• Preparing for a talk for a tech for good conference this weekend
• Getting small offers for web design projects

All the while the kiddo is now on school holidays so that means less bandwidth altogether.

I guess it’s a good thing. Can’t complain. There’s no movement on the needle with regards to revenue yet, but all these are leading indicators pointing to potential lagging results, of money in the bank.

I do hope so.

I just spoke to a friend and fellow consultant. He’s also struggling. Seems like the market is really BAD right now, for job-seekers and gig-finders.

Everything can change by the end of this year…
