October starts with a bang

No time to summarize the goings-on in September. I'm ready to start October with a bang!

Between yesterday and today, I spent many hours preparing for my membership launch tomorrow. I'm calling it the Be Wellthy Club.

I spent some of the time familiarizing myself with Substack's payment functionality. Substack did a great job of making the settings self-explanatory and straightforward. There is a clear separation between free and paid content and lots of flexibility. 

I also spent quite a bit of time editing the music clips I will be using for my voiceover intro. I purchased them on Audio Jungle so that I can use them royalty-free in perpetuity. I was able to fulfill my vision of intro music that starts out dramatic with an increasing tempo that builds to a crescendo only to turn completely silly into a theme that one friend described as an 80's sitcom theme. It's a good reminder not to take myself too seriously when I start bringing in the bucks.

Finally, in addition to writing tomorrow's newsletter, I created a brand-new archive for all my Brain Training puzzles that will be exclusively for club members. I have two year's worth of weekly puzzles that people might want to use, and I wanted to make it easy to find them all in one place, including links to the answers.

It's going to take me longer to create the Notion database of all my newsletters, but I hope to roll that out sometime this month as well. I want to show my subscribers that I'm committed to continuous improvement and adding more value to the membership.
