One day

One day, all these will feel like a past life. Just like how everything before 2020, before fatherhood, before family, before covid, felt like a different person.

One day, I’d wonder who was the person writing this post. I don’t recognise the words, the sentiment, the way of thinking. It’s even a little cringe, if not a lot.

One day, my son will be reading this and wonder if this was a different dad from the one he knew, the one he remembered, the one he (hopefully, I hope) love.

One day, all this will be gone.

I won’t even recall having these thoughts a decade later.
It does not matter.
It will not matter.

One day, one day.
