Opportunity

Same day today 4 years ago, in 2022. I said I’ve neglected the opportunity right under my nose – my Carrd plugins.

I can’t keep neglecting a project that’s been quieting generating revenue and say in good faith that I haven’t found a project that has potential to take-off. IT’S RIGHT THERE for the taking. Take it.

I definitely ran with that. Now Plugins is doing much better compared to then. Multiple fold increase in revenue, and consistently year on year at that. But that opportunity from four years ago is also now starting to stagnate. I can’t throw in all my chips on just one opportunity, even if it was a good opportunity four years ago.

Re-reading my post got me thinking: What opportunity right under my nose am I now neglecting?

Previously, I was building other projects while neglecting the good project.
But this time, I’m not building any new projects, and focusing on the good but stagnant project.

The only opportunities are ones I had yet to build.
The ones collecting dust in my ideas list, or built halfway.
The ones that can be built much faster and easier now on AI.
The ones that can be tested and discarded quickly if it doesn’t work.

And perhaps it’s a good time to start building them.

Now is the time.
