Oura O2 measurement

The Oura ring has finally rolled out the update to include oxygen sensing. I updated my firmware, and last night was the first time I had the chance to use it.
My sleep score was 85, which is a bit low for me. Supposedly my restlessness was off, but everything else was fairly normal. The average oxygen saturation was 98%, and my breathing regularity was assessed as optimal. The comment indicates no significant variations in your blood oxygen levels were detected. This can indicate that you experienced no breathing disturbances in your sleep.
At one time, I probably had sleep apnea due to excessive weight. I also used to grind my teeth, which has been remedied with a mouth guard. I often use mouth tape as well, although I did not put that on last night. It’s good to know my oxygen and breathing are good even without mouth taping.
The Oura ring continues to be my favorite wearable. I bought a Carbinox watch a couple of weeks ago (Thanks, Tik Tok!), and I already stopped wearing it. I’m just not a watch guy anymore, and unless I’m out and about, there’s nothing much to track.

Ah right, just like oximeters using fingers!

Wow, makes me wonder how they track O2 with just a software update!
Not heard of Carbinox - looks interesting! Like a Casio G-Shock but super premium, and smartwatch
