Perfect Sunday

I had a beautiful Sunday.

Doing nothing.

It’s drizzling outside. Not even evening yet but it’s dark like it is. That white noise from the soft blanket of raindrops is soothing, calming. Perfect background music for such days. I snuggle under a blanket, watching calm travel videos by Japanese vloggers. It’s almost meditative.

Nowhere to go.
Nothing to do.
No one to see.

Just here and now.

After an hour or so, I feel tired, and I go lie down, and nap the sweetest nap I’ve not had in years. It wasn’t even a long nap. Just 30 min probably. No coughing from that persistent dry cough. No interruptions. No noise. No worries. Just pure sleep that’s taken when desired. Sleep I’ve never had in years.

I feel rested.
Heart full of peace.
