Pre-visit activities

I have been doing some additional de-cluttering and preparation for the arrival of my best friend, who is happy to replace Michigan with Arizona for a bit. I’ve known him since 1999, and he is most definitely a brother from another mother.

I don’t have many friends I’ve known as long as him. I am “friends” with high school people on Facebook, but that’s not the same as truly keeping in touch. In fact, I would say only people in my immediate family have known me longer, and he knows me better, having a front-row seat to most of my adult years.

We don’t have any specific plans. Of course, people know when they visit me that they will be subjected to some biohacking. We have stretch appointments and an OsteoStrong clinic visit scheduled for tomorrow. We are kicking off the visit with a four-day weekend, but then we’ll both be working the majority of next week. At least remote work affords us the opportunity to maximize the time we have.

I’m looking forward to catching up and brainstorming our plans for 2023. We used to refer to such discussions as “Business Club.”
