Refining more habits

I’m feeling comfortable with the 5AM habit, and I’m looking to pile on a few more healthy habits, especially some that I’ve been resisting recently, such as cutting out sugar. I cut out sugar and flour for about 5 months between 2022 and 2023 and I never felt better. But these days there’s an inner voice that screams “OH HEEELLLL NO!” whenever I mentally surface this intention.

But I’m feeling good and I want to take the challenge on. It’s feeling a lot less challenging since I was also struggling with waking up early.

Another important habit to work on is going to sleep earlier. I’m tempted to believe Dave Asprey that 5 hours of sleep is enough and 8 hours is too much, but he also recommends a level of health that makes that possible. I’m not there yet, so I might need to support myself with more sleep. I AT LEAST want to do more relaxing activities before bed instead of watching TV with the wifey or using my phone in bed.

I’ll be busy with work commitments the next few days, but I want to dedicate some time to figuring out what habits I want to work on next.
