Relax Sauna

My latest biohacking experience, which I briefly mentioned in this week's newsletter, is the Relax Sauna.

Traditional hot saunas use natural hot springs or hot coals to produce heated air. More modern saunas use infrared heaters to produce heat. I've written about the benefits of regular sauna bathing in another newsletter.

The Relax sauna is unique in several ways. It is portable. You can put it together and pull it apart in a few minutes, and the components fit into a large suitcase. The secret sauce is in the heaters, which utilize microchips that are programmed to produce 100% far infrared energy. These heaters are patented and also registered as a Class 2 FDA medical device. Far infrared energy is most compatible with the energy produced by our bodies.

After having several sessions in the sauna over the last couple of days, I have to say I just might become addicted to it. I feel amazing after every session and not as wiped out as I feel coming out of a standard infrared sauna.

This morning, I talked to Phil Wilson, the company's founder, about becoming an affiliate. Within the hour, my application was approved, and I had a designated discount code ready to go.

I will include my affiliate link in an upcoming newsletter, and folks who use my code BEWELLTHY can get a $100 discount.

I find the idea quite interesting, although the taxes on importing one of those would be horrendous. I probably should just buy a sauna heater for my parents’ sauna room (they made a dedicated room inside the bathroom, but never “activated” it).
