Released from Twitter jail

WOOHOO I’m out of Twitter jail! 🕊️

I must have been in it for 1-2 days prior, unknowingly… No wonder I felt like the days prior to the shadowban felt like quiet days for engagement. Little did I know! Never expected I could get shadowbanned for the non-controversial stuff I tweet about!

Shadowbans are the WORST. At least with a full suspension you know it right away. Everything looks normal for me, but is hidden from everyone else. I replied to other people’s tweets, but noticed that they didn’t like it or reply. That’s because they don’t even get notifications about it, or even see the reply tweet! And all these went on for a few days with me being ignorant about it. I would never have known until someone else told me!

I hate that we don’t even know that it’s happening.
I hate it even more that we don’t even know WHY.

It’s like being convicted for a crime but no one told you what the crime was and just throws you in jail and you just hope for best to be released (if ever).

We need more transparency on this platform.

How can we trust putting our time and effort to build an audience, build a business when bans are so random? 😡
