Right anger

I woke up at 4:30am on Friday and completed everything I wanted to do.

Felt powerful, productive, pleased.

Truth is, since the start of the year, I’ve snoozed a lot, struggled to keep up with the tasks, always over-ran on time, tired, grumpy, annoyed that I was less present at home, and just discontented in general with how things are being run.

But all it took was decisively deciding to do something about it. A firm commitment. A warrior’s war cry.

I got fking frustrated with my repeated predicament of stress, overwork and helplessness, so I decided, fk it, I’m changing this.

And it worked.

Amazing what a little righteous anger can do.

Now, to maintain this for the rest of the year life.

I believe the phrase for this is “grabbing the bull by the horns.”
