You can’t self-care your way out of a life that’s not in alignment. - @corymuscara

That’s why my self-care had hit a ceiling. No wonder I still feel tired all the time, unmotivated, numb, angry, frustrated, unfit, unwell, unhappy, despite all the self-care, naps, sleep, exercise, proper food, chillaxing, restmaxxing, quiet quitting.

It worked for a while in the beginning but no more.

There’s only so much surface self-care can do, when your life is fundamentally out of whack with your soul. Self-care alone is not enough. Self-congruence first.

The fatigue, anxiety, despression, numbness, are all there not as problems to solve, symptoms to remedy, but as signals, as saviours.

That I need to get back in alignment.
Back in sync with what fuels me.
Back to wholeness of what truly matters.

Self.

Self > self-care

You love that Cory Mascara. Maybe I should create an alter ego for him. 😂 On a serious note, what would you say has pulled you away from your core purpose and alignment?

@therealbrandonwilson Haha can’t always quote James Clear can I ;D

I think this new life stage + all that happened in past 6 years (pandemic, career loss, survival woes, etc) did me in. Still trying to shake it off and get back on track

I would reframe “career loss” as “career liberation.”

Yeah indeed, on hindsight!
