Serious season

There’s a change in the air. It’s (physically) true over here in Singapore - the cold, all-day monsoon rain is starting to give way to warmer temps. The heat and humidity is coming back.

The season’s shifting.

And likewise, my indie hacking. Though I am hardly doing any of it right now… just an hour or two in the morning, half an hour in the evening maybe. I’m so busy with my freelance work, I hardly got bandwidth for indie hacking.

But despite the lack of time, the mood and attitude seemed to have shifted, in a fundamentally different way.

I feel serious.
Like dead serious.
Like “I’m not here to have fun so fk off” serious.

There’s a feeling of dread, that all along the past seven years I’d just been playing entrepreneur.

But this time it feels like I’m trying to be run a business seriously.

I don’t know if this will last.

But it feels right.
Never felt this right.

The season’s shifting.

Love it. Treat it like a business. That’s serious. 💪🔥
