There’s a new viral tool in town - shiptalkers.dev

According to it, I spend 1883% more time tweeting than coding.

Okay to be fair, a lot of my coding for Carrd plugins are not really tracked on Github. I tend to like to build off Github, in places like JSFiddle or Codepen.

But still… that chart comparison does trigger a reality check, with a hearty slice of humble pie.

I can’t avoid the fact that I am spending an inordinate amount of time on X. All that time isn’t best converted to revenue. Yeah, I’m there to build in public, make friends, learn and all, so making money off it isn’t the aim. But the hard truth is… time is time is time. Time spent there could be better spent elsewhere, on things that truly move the needle on my goals.

Priorities, priorities, priorities.

At this stage, socialising should be less of a priority than making fking money! Plus, X isn’t even a marketing channel for my products.

Will start with timeboxing time spent on X to 30min per day.

Time to build more talk less.
