Showers of blessings

What is this? The weather report said nothing of rain.

Yet here I am, right as I wanted to leave, it pours.

All I wanted was to pick a leaf from a tree. A normal leaf. From a normal template tree. In a small temple no one looks twice at.

But it poured. So I waited.

… Drizzle, ok time to go for it.
This pilgrimage.

I walked through the streets where the locals are setting up their weekly Sunday night market. Everyone’s just going for it, rain or not. A great analogy of life to come here.

I walked in, found a tiny leaf, thanked the tree, and walked out to hitch my bike ride back.

But ooops, bad idea. The drizzle got worse, and I was soaked.
But the spirits was not dampened.
It was worth it.

For it was a shower of blessing.

You sought wisdom, you found it.
In the most ordinary of streets and daily life unfolding.

There’s nothing else more mundane, yet nothing more sacred.

Last day.
In this city.
Our home.
Soon.

What blessings.

Forwards!
